Tschüs!

Sorry I haven't had any time to blog (been a bit busy). At 7:30 this morning I'm leaving for my Summer Project in the Middle East and won't be back until July 17th. I highly doubt I'll be able to post anything while I'm over there, but most of you regular readers should be on my email update list anyway (or know someone who is). Thank you all for your prayers and encouragements in the months leading up to this trip and especially for your prayers while we are over there; they mean more to me than you realize. God bless!

Comics

Saw a couple of really funny comics in today's Chicago Tribune.
First, "Brewster Rockit: Space Guy!"

And, "Speed Bump":

DONE!!!

The Freiburg series is finally complete!! Despite the ongoing problems with Blogger's server regarding pictures, I was able to use the work-around and get it finished. I'll put the Table of Contents at the bottom of this post so you can jump directly to wherever you left off.

Anyways, we're off to Indiana again on RevTrak business from Wednesday through Friday (and hopefully I'll get to see a few friends in Lafayette on the way back). This last Saturday I got to pick up Chip and Rebecca at O'Hare and drop them off at their hotel for Acts 29 Summer Project (another Middle East trip) and also see Michelle and a few others leaving for Freiburg, so I'm that much more excited about leaving for my project to the Middle East on the 27th (getting close!). That's all for now, so I'll give you a picture and a link...

This strip making fun of the Burger King "King" commercials was in the Sunday Comics of the Chicago Tribune recently (I think a week ago):

Matt Oney let me know about this video last night. It's the audio from an old Monty Python skit combined with footage from the video game Halo and is absolutely hilarious:
How Not To Be Seen

Almost...

Well, I have all the text for 2nd Saturday, 2nd Sunday, and the Quote Book finished, but blogger is still having problems with picture uploads. I've found a work-around, but it is so incredibly slow that it'll be a couple of days before I can get all those pictures uploaded unless they get their server problems figured out. It's really frustrating to be this close and not be able to finally finish.

No Dice

sorry folks, Blogger's server is still having problems and not accepting pictures. Hmmm...ok, to hold you over, here's a quick link to a video I came across in my travels of the net. Some "student" breaking out into a spontaneous broadway-style song in the middle of a college lecture (and it would appear that the professor and most of the class didn't have any idea it was coming):

still here

No, I haven't forgotten about you guys. I've been struggling to make progress on the Freiburg stuff because I've been sitting at my desk on the computer all day, every day and have been having a hard time getting "optional" computer work like the blog done because of it. I was able to escape to Lafayette for the weekend and had a really great time, so now I've been able to resume work. I have the 2nd Saturday post finished, but Blogger decided to bug out and not let me upload pictures today, so hopefully I'll be able to get that live sometime tomorrow or the day after. Anyways, have a good night...
